Meals

Those participants, who are not affiliated with the Astronomical Institute SAS, are offered with a lunch and dinner, for 6.50 EUR each, in the restaurant of the hotel Academia. The menu will be announced at this webpage later. Ideally, lunch must be reserved one day in advance or it must be reserved not later than at 7:50 a.m. of a day. Therefore we ask all participants to let us know by e-mail (see Contacts ) not later than on Thursday, 25 May 2017, whether they wish to make a reservation of lunch for Monday, 29 May 2017.
Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.

Those participants, who do not wish to have lunch and dinner in the restaurant of the hotel Academia, are offered with the following possibilities:

to reserve lunch for 3.20 EUR through Contacts in the restaurant of the hotel Forton, which is only in a 10-min walking distance from the school venue. The menu will be announced at this webpage later.
to cook their meals in the kitchen at the building of the Astronomical Institute SAS (Image 1, Image 2, Image 3). The kitchen is equipped with dishes, tableware, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave oven, and electric kettle. Where to buy foodstuff:
- Supermarket SINTRA, which in a very center of Tatranská Lomnica near a train station. Opening hours: 7:00-18:45.
- Market DaTaZ , which is on the way from the school venue to Tatranská Lomnica. Opening hours: 7:00-19:00. Image 1, Image 2
to go to Tatranská Lomnica, which is in a 2-km walking distance from the school venue, and to find there a restaurant according personal wishes. We can recommend:
- Restaurant Lavína , which is in a very center of Tatranská Lomnica near the train station. A meal price is about 6 EUR (soup for 1.50 EUR + main dish for 4.50 EUR).
- Restaurant Slalom, also near the train station. This restaurant offers a menu (soup + main dish) for 4.50 EUR.
- Bistro GOA, which is a fast-food like bistro also in a very center of Tatranská Lomnica near the bus station. Its menu includes kebabs, hamburgers, wraps, and various salads, but also hot meals for about 4 EUR. The bistro is quite small offering just a a couple of tables and a few chairs. They offer meal delivery service for 1 EUR. If the meal price is higher than 5 EUR, than the delivery is free of charge.

The school participants, who are employees of the Astronomical Institute SAS, will be offered with a lunch according week-long menu for usual price.

Room pricing: 0.7 EUR per night per person.

All guest rooms share a common bathroom and kitchen equipped with dishes, tableware, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave oven, and elctric kettle (Image 1, Image 2, Image 3).

Both are situated in the corridor.
