That spacecraft performed a close-range monitoring of the comet during the previous perihelion passage in 2015-2016. In the present work, we study the dust environment of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko in the 2021-2022 apparition, which is the next after Rosetta's approach. We carried out photometric observations of the comet over 85 nights, both before and after perihelion, using the SDSS broadband filters. Parameters such as a colour and a dust activity level, which characterise dust in the cometary coma, were calculated. Our results revealed the activity level trend similar to that observed in the 2002-2003 apparition.
