PREDNASAJUCI / LECTURER : Dr. Volodymyr Troianskyi Astronomical Observatory Institute, Faculty of Physics, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland NAZOV / TITLE : Constraining planetesimal formation and evolution from observations of V-type asteroids ABSTRAKT / ABSTRACT : The main aim of the work was to carry out an observational campaign designed at verifying the predictions of the numerical model of planetesimal formation and evolution by Bottke et al. (2006). In particular to: derive physical (spins, shapes and masses) and dynamical characteristics of V-type asteroids outside the dynamical Vesta family; compare the derived characteristics with those of typical Vestoids and with the dynamical evolution model of the Vesta family by Nesvorny et al. (2008), test the hypothetical presence of non-Vestoids in the inner Main Belt; determine and compare the spatial distribution of non-Vestoids in the Main Belt with the predicted distribution by Bottke et al. (2006), determine formation location of differentiated planetesimals and total mass of non-Vestoids.
