	      Postdoctoral Fellowship in Stellar Oscillations
		  School of Physics, University of Sydney

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work with Tim Bedding
and collaborators on stellar oscillations.  The research interests of this
group include oscillations in several types of stars, most notably
solar-like stars and red giants.

A PhD or equivalent in Astronomy is essential and applicants must show a
proven ability for excellence in research.  Applicants must also show
evidence of the potential for further development and evidence of the
ability to work co-operatively with others.  Experience in observational
and/or theoretical aspects of stellar pulsations is highly desirable.

The position is full-time, fixed term for one year subject to completion of
a probation period, with a likely extension of one and possibly two
additional years.
