Nazov prednasky: Black Holes with Hair; New Solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell Equations Indicated by Recent Observations Abstrakt prednasky: With new data, an importantly new view is emerging about the nature of black hole objects, since hair (magnetic fields) is being detected and manifested by different quasar states and by the nature of the UV-optical luminous surfaces. Observations of reverberation between inner (6 R_g) and outer (200 R_g) structure guided by strong magnetic fields show that a strong, 10^16 Gauss magnetic field is creating a strong magnetic propellor and outer dusty torus as a light cylinder effect. This gives rise to a co-rotation radius, whose central radial distance defines whether the quasar is in a radio loud lo-hard or radio quiet hi-soft state. A new class of Magnetic Eternally Collapsing Object (MECO) solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell equations explain these observed properties. These MECO solutions have, instead of an event horizon, a high redshift surface supported by quantum-electrodynamical processes of spontaneous pair creation. Because all information in the universe gets piled onto the onion skin outer MECO surface no information is lost to the universe, and the object behaves like nature's hard drive. And extreme temperatures with intense quantum electrodynamical generation create optimum sites for emergent properties to enter our space-time.
