Sometimes there are such winter days... Snow, sunshine, freezing a little bit and for the first time family of my brother and our one have joined for a skiing day at the 'Lopusna dolina' (Burdock valley) near Svit in the northern Slovakia. Personally it is my brother Tino, his wife Lea and their children Teka and Ado and my wife Eva and our sons Matus and Jakub. It was a very special day also due to the reason that it was the very first day of skiiing for the youngest Ado. He has got the best skiing teacher in the world - our mum Eva. Here is part of their first lecture of skiing.

But of course skiing is a hard work to do, therefore each cup of tea after this practice is welcome.

Several of us were disappointed when we decided to stop skiing. Nevertheless lunch was waiting for us. So the whole group photos were taken in a hurry.

The lunch was prepared and served in our flat by the above mentioned teacher of skiing - mum Eva. Everybody was happy with her 'halusky' - slovak best known folk meal.

What a day ! Only one lack appeared - Tino was equipped with his digital camera taking these (and several other) pictures but he was the only one without having ski-shoes on. Maybe next time ?
