Thanks to our colleague Prof. Arnold Hanslmeier (IGAM, Uni Graz, Graz, Austria) I was invited to take part at the '1st Central European Solar Physics Meeting' which was held at Bairisch Kolldorf (Styria, Austria) on October 23-25, 2003. Together with several friends we have enjoyed the meeting very much. Not only the exceptional social events but the lectures as well. My personal input to the meeting was an oral talk 'On Merging of Two Data Sets of the (Hemispheric) Sunspot Numbers' I have given on behalf of a team of coauthors: P. Bendik, M. Temmer, A. Veronig and A. Hanslmeier. The paper version of the contribution will appear in the Hvar Observatory Bulletin, vol. 27.
