Our group at the Solar department of the Astronomical institute has hired two PhD positions which were filled with two new colleagues, former students of the universities in Bratislava and Kosice. Namely : Peter Gomory and Frantisek Tomasz.
Both will be working with the SOHO JOP078 data on the variability and dynamics of the solar outer atmosphere. In particular the transition region in relation to the chromosphere and photosphere using the SOHO/SUMER and SOHO/CDS data.
