Gómez-Muñoz Title: Binarity effect in AGB and post-AGB evolution Abstract: The principal objective of this project is to explore how the binarity affects the evolution of low- and intermediate-mass stars, from the Asymptotic giant branch (AGB) phase to the white dwarf (WD) cooling phase. We took all photometric data, from the ultraviolet (UV) to the near infrared (NIR), of the known central stars of Planetary Nebulae (CSPNe) to analyze its spectral energy distribution (SED). For those resulted in a binary system, via observing a double component on its SED, an analysis of the morphology, chemical abundances, and galactic distribution will be made. This will let us pose constraints on the evolution of before-mentioned binary systems.
