Second Announcement

Dear participants of the EAST Workshop here we provide you by additional information on the organization of the workshop.

1. Programme:
   There is given a new updated programme at http://www.astro.sk/EAST/east/programme
   • Please notice changes in the time allocated for particular talks. We have slightly extended time space for your talks.
   • Full day excursion to observatories and/or to historical places was shifted to Thursday 7 Oct. 2010, as many of you wish to visit the observatories and leave on Friday October 8, early morning.
2. Accommodation:
   Please, book the hotel soon and send the copy of booking to akucera@astro.sk
   According the information from the hotel, up to now, the accommodation is booked for the following people:

3. Travel:
   Please provide us with your travel itinerary, please send it to akucera@astro.sk
   We will help you with the transportation from Poprad, or Tatranska Lomnica to the hotel, but we need to know your itinerary in advance.
   If you have decided to cancel your attendance at the meeting, please let us know.
4. Abstracts.
   Those of you who have not sent abstract yet, please send your abstracts (no later than Sept. 29, 2010), to be able to finalize the Abstract booklet. Use please the form at: http://www.astro.sk/EAST/east/abstract_submission.
   If the type of contribution (oral/poster) is different in your "Registration" and in "Abstract submission" we will use as a relevant that in the "Abstract submission".
5. Meal:
   We will order for you (according your itinerary and your wishes) meal in the hotel (the choice for vegetarian meal is possible)
   • Buffet breakfast: 5.48 EUR
   • Lunch: 8.40 EUR
   • Dinner: 8.03 EUR
   • Welcome reception: free for all
   • Conference dinner: free for all
6. Conference fee:
   Conference fee paid at the registration desk in cash is:
   • Participants -100 EUR,
   • accompanying persons - 30 EUR
7. Presentations, technique:
   There will be computer with the data projector in the lecture room. We recommend to bring the presentations (PPT, PDF) at USB key and use our computer. If you need your laptop with special software/settings, check compatibility with our data projector well in advance (first speakers in Monday afternoon or evening).
